About Freezy

Renew. Reuse. Recycle. The 3 Rs that are, apparently, going to stop the world turning into a jolly large Sauna and stop that old devil the Sun, sucking up our water supplies and turning the lake District into the Sahara Dessert. Well, Freezy's aim is quite simple really. To help you with the middle one; to help you reuse stuff.

Reuse is really simple. It just means, rather than throwing stuff away, give it away. If you give it away, you are getting rid of stuff you don't need, meaning your decluttering the world which is good feng-shui, apparently. You are giving the thing to someone who really does need it, for free, which is good Karma and, probably most importantly, you're keeping stuff out of Landfills, which is just good common sense.

Freezy is bought to you by two guys who like making stuff for the Internet and want to help make the world a better place to live. Freezy isn't about banging on about the environment and making you feel bad that you fly top Spain for a Holiday rather than going to Bognor, it's not about hugging trees or using Energy saving lightbulbs, it's just about common sense. Don't throw something away if someone else can use it!

Kez is the coding genius and common sense behind Freezy. Freezy is written from scratch and everything the site does, from allowing you to sign-up, to posting an add, to searching, to being put in touch with the person who's stuff you want and all those things that make you go "Wow, that's cool!" - that's all Kez.

Dave is the one who thought of the site. He'd seen some stuff around the web but it was all a bit to complicated. So, he came up with an idea to create a site that was so simple to use, his Dad could use it. Simplicity is the key. So, everything you see, the ideas, the logos, the layout all came from Dave's head.
